The towers give them clocks. #itravelinitaly

The towers give them clocks.
The towers give them clocks.

In Italy, in all the main squares the clock tower rises high.

Sometimes even more than one, in Moresco in the province of Fermano it is also on one of the entrances.

Initially medieval constructions, later changed or better improved in the Renaissance, have thus adapted these towers to the existing buildings, visible from very far and sometimes higher than the cathedral of the country.

Walking in the ancient Pedaso, when I came across this hidden corner, really curious, perhaps an old oven.

Pedaso is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Fermo in the Italian region Marche, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) southeast of Ancona and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northeast of Ascoli Piceno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,093 and an area of 3.6 square kilometres (1.4 sq mi).[1]

Pedaso borders the following municipalities: Altidona, Campofilone.

Castrum Morisci #italy

Moresco means literary “Moorish”. According to legend, at the time of their raids along the Adriatic coast, a group of Moors went further into the interior in order to build a fortress in the heart of Christianity. Others, on the contrary, maintain that the Castrum Morisci was built near the sea to drive back the assaults of the Saracens. Most probably the place name comes either from a noble family named Mori, or from the word in dialect morrecine, which refers to the heap of stones on which the castle rests. By wikipedia
